About Bilexor

What is Bilexor?

Bilexor is invoice and trade document software for importers, exporters, trading companies, and manufacturers that ship internationally. You enter a shipment once, and Bilexor uses it to create proforma invoices, commercial invoices, packing lists, credit/debit notes, purchase orders, and sales orders — while customer balances and stock update as you work.

Who is Bilexor for?

Import/export SMEs, trading companies, exporters, importers, and manufacturers that regularly prepare international trade documents — especially teams that currently copy the same shipment details between spreadsheets, Word files, and PDFs.

How is Bilexor different from generic invoicing software?

Generic invoicing tools treat each invoice as a separate document. Bilexor treats the shipment as the source of truth, so the whole document set — proforma, commercial invoice, packing list, orders, and CN/DN — is generated from the same information and stays consistent.

Can Bilexor replace Excel or Google Sheets for trade documents?

For trade-document work, yes. Instead of copying shipment details between spreadsheets and documents, Bilexor keeps shipments, documents, customer balances, and stock quantities connected. You can keep using spreadsheets for other tasks.

Is Bilexor suitable for businesses that only send domestic invoices?

Bilexor is built for import-export workflows. If you only need simple domestic invoicing, a general invoicing or accounting app is likely a better fit.

Documents and workflow

Which trade documents can Bilexor create?

Proforma invoices, commercial invoices, packing lists, credit notes, debit notes, purchase orders, and sales orders — all generated from the same shipment information so you don't retype details.

Can I convert a proforma invoice into a commercial invoice?

Yes. Bilexor converts a proforma invoice into a commercial invoice in one step, carrying the buyer, goods, quantities, currency, and Incoterms forward instead of re-entering them.

Why create every document from one shipment record?

Entering buyer, goods, quantities, currency, and Incoterms once — and reusing them across the document set — removes the retyping that causes small differences between an invoice, a packing list, and related paperwork.

Can Bilexor catch mismatches between an invoice and a packing list?

Yes. A built-in consistency check compares quantities and descriptions across related documents and shows a warning on the document before you share it. It reduces preventable errors; it does not guarantee a bank, buyer, or customs authority will accept the documents.

Does Bilexor support purchase orders, sales orders, credit notes, and debit notes?

Yes. Purchase orders, sales orders, credit notes, and debit notes are part of the same workflow and can be created from the related shipment or transaction data.

Does Bilexor support Incoterms, HS codes, and multiple currencies?

Yes. Documents include multi-country trade fields such as Incoterms, ports, HS codes, and buyer/consignee addresses, and amounts are shown in the currency of each transaction.

Can I share Bilexor documents on WhatsApp or email?

Yes. Documents export as branded PDFs that you can send to buyers and partners over WhatsApp, email, or any other channel.

Ledger and stock

Does Bilexor track customer and supplier balances?

Yes. Every invoice updates a running ledger per buyer or supplier, so you can see outstanding balances without a separate spreadsheet.

Does Bilexor track stock or inventory?

Yes. Item quantities adjust as you create documents, so you can see what has moved and what is still available. It is quantity tracking for trading businesses, not a full warehouse or ERP system.

Can I import my existing data from CSV?

Yes. CSV import and export are included from the Solo plan upwards.

Plans, devices, and teams

Is Bilexor free?

The mobile app is free forever with local storage for one user (once per user). Cloud storage, multi-device sync, the web dashboard, and team access are part of the paid Solo, Team, and Enterprise plans.

Can I use Bilexor on my phone and on a computer?

Bilexor has a mobile app for day-to-day documents, contacts, items, and stock. The web dashboard and multi-device sync — for working from a laptop or desktop — are included in the Team and Enterprise plans.

Can multiple employees use Bilexor?

Yes. The Team plan supports up to 2 users and Enterprise up to 10, with more seats available on request. Solo is a single-user cloud plan.

What user roles and permissions does Bilexor have?

Team and Enterprise include four roles — View, Update, Admin, and Super Admin — to control who can see, edit, and manage records.

Can Bilexor send payment reminders?

Yes. Automated payment reminders are included in the Team and Enterprise plans.

Where is my Bilexor data stored?

On the free mobile option, data stays in local storage on your device. On Solo, Team, and Enterprise, data is stored in the cloud so it can be backed up and, on Team and Enterprise, synced across devices and users.

What Bilexor does and doesn't do

Is Bilexor accounting software or an ERP?

No. Bilexor focuses on trade documents, document consistency, customer ledgers, and stock quantities. It is deliberately simpler than an ERP and should be used alongside accounting software when you need full accounting.

Can Bilexor help with letter of credit (LC) shipments?

It helps by keeping the commercial invoice, packing list, and related documents built from the same data and checked for mismatches — a common source of LC discrepancies. Every LC has its own terms, so always check final documents against the credit and with your bank.

Does Bilexor guarantee that a bank or customs will accept my documents?

No. Consistency checks reduce preventable errors, but acceptance depends on the LC terms, the bank, the buyer, the customs authority, and the destination country.

What doesn't Bilexor do?

Bilexor does not replace accounting software, tax-filing software, government e-invoicing systems, customs-clearance systems, customs brokers or CHAs, freight forwarders, banks or trade-finance teams, or professional legal and trade advice. Its job is creating, organizing, and keeping trade documents and related records consistent.

Who uses Bilexor

Can exporters in India use Bilexor?

Yes. Indian exporters and trading companies use Bilexor to prepare and manage international trade documents. India-specific GST, customs, banking, and export requirements should still be confirmed separately.

Can importers use Bilexor?

Yes. Importers use Bilexor to organize purchase documents, track item quantities, and keep supplier and customer records in one place.

Can manufacturers and small trading businesses use Bilexor?

Yes. Bilexor works for solo traders, small export businesses, and manufacturers that sell physical goods internationally — and grows to a team when you add users.
