Packing List Template for Export Shipments (Free Download)

Package marks, weights, and quantities that must match your commercial invoice — ready to fill in.

A packing list is easy to treat as an afterthought because it usually has no prices. Buyers, forwarders, and banks still rely on it — and discrepancies against the commercial invoice are a common reason presentations get queried.

Use the template to capture package marks, package counts, descriptions, quantities, net and gross weights, and dimensions. Cross-check every quantity and description against the invoice before you share either document.

Best practice: generate the packing list from the same shipment record as the invoice, then fill packing-only fields. Avoid retyping the goods list from scratch.

Informational only — not legal, banking, tax, or customs advice. Always verify document and LC requirements with your bank, CHA / customs broker, and buyer before presentation.
